We often think of Jesus divinity, but we may overlook that He was human as well. When God came to earth as a man, He experienced all that we have experienced. Jesus knew what it was to be hungry; He experienced fatigue. Yet it is his humanity that brings compassion to us in our time of need. It is the tired Jesus who relates to us in our weakness. Our temptations are not foreign to Him. This is what makes Him the ultimate bridge between God and man.
