Paul is telling the Corinthians that God’s Spirit is so different from anything that they had ever experienced before that, if they received it, their minds and hearts would open up to the realities of God’s promises on this earth. To sense God’s love and God’s uniqueness simultaneously is a good sign that you are embarking on a journey that illuminates God’s word and is filled with life.
