People do not hear your message. That is not their responsibility. When you are given a message, an insight, a revelation, your only responsibility is to deliver what you have been given. What happens once the message is delivered, IS NOT, your responsibility. If you judge the correctness, accuracy or power of your message based on how it is received, you will miss the point. Once you, the messenger, miss the point, the message is lost.
Most of us are well aware that God uses people do to Her/His most sacred work. Often, we are not sure exactly what it is that God is doing, and we become confused. We think that it is our idea and that we are doing the work. We assume the responsibility for getting God's work done right. We exhaust our time, energy and attention trying to make people understand or accept what we are saying or doing. If we do not get support and agreement from the right people, or the right number of people, we doubt ourselves. We begin to doubt the effectiveness of the message. Ultimately, we may begin to question God's authority.
It is important not to lose sight of the fact that we are God's messengers. The purpose of the message or the work we do belongs to God. Once you try to determine who should get the message, how they should receive it and what the response should be, the purpose, power and efficacy of the message can be lost.
Until today, you may have judged the importance of what you were saying about life or doing in life in response to the number of people who agreed with and supported you. Just for today, be the messenger. Let your life be the proof that the messages you receive are real.
Today I am devoted to being a faithful and obedient messenger!
From Until Today!
