Exceptional
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
George Horn, 48 years old, is an exceptional man, and this is not a compliment.
One day, George went into a Catholic Church in Florida, went to the altar and took the crucifix ... but not to worship. No. George used the crucifix to force the donation box in which parishioners deposited offerings candles lit.
Not content with only take money from the offerings, George also ransacked the donation box for the poor.
To me George is exceptional: it has no problem with stealing from the poor, the Lord, or anyone in general. George has proven to be guilty of a willful act of desecration and impurity.
Of course it is not just George. People rob the Lord constantly.
While they are not captured on a video surveillance camera, as was the case of George, nor leave evidence or DNA fingerprint, just rob the Lord. How?
By not giving rightful devotion to the Creator.
By not thank Salvador for their sacrifice, death and resurrection.
By not living in gratitude for all that the Lord gives us.
Indeed, many people robs the Lord. And that's wrong. We who have been redeemed by Christ, we need to thank and worship;need to serve and obey our Lord.
If we do these things, we can also be exceptional ... but in a good way and that God approves.

Heavenly Father, I pray that my life is outstanding. You are exceptionally grateful for the exceptional love we've shown in the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus. And that forgiveness and salvation he has won as a source of exceptional joy. In his name. Amen.
